Description
Sean Oliver, a mentor and religious leader, was released on parole during 2020. In this interview, Sean speaks about the difficulties coping with COVID-19 while incarcerated, specifically the contradicting stipulations that were placed upon the men seeking parole and the COVID-19 policies that denied them the classes necessary to achieve parole. Sean became a mentor and religious leader while still inside and finds that it is his life’s purpose to share his story and how his relationship with God has changed him. Sean also speaks about the difficulties of finding a job post-release and during COVID and how he seeks to change the world around him in any situation he is given. This interview was conducted on August 26, 2020 via Zoom by interviewer Celeste Henery and narrator Sean Oliver.
